It’s time to get your tickets for the Pancake Race Day Breakfast in the marquee on the Market Place. Local chef, Ben Francis from The Cherry Tree Pub & Restaurant, will be cooking breakfast just for you on our fabulous Blackstone griddles. We will be starting at 8.00am and the last serving of breakfast will be at 9.30am, so come and join us for this special event!
You’ll start with a glass of prosecco or orange juice. And then onto your choice of pancake with fabulous Bonne Maman conserves and spreads:
- Salmon Royale: Kefir and dill pancake, smoked salmon, poached egg, hollandaise & caviar
- Shakshuka: North African spiced sweet peppers and tomato, spiced seeds, Greek yoghurt & free-range eggs
- Bacon & Maple Syrup: Crispy streaky bacon & maple syrup
- Lemon Curd & Italian Meringue: Buttery lemon curd topped with torched Italian meringue
- Wild Blueberry & Basil: Wild blueberry conserve, vanilla mascarpone cream & fresh basil
- Hazelnut Chocolate & Berries : Crunchy hazelnut chocolate spread, strawberries, blueberries, & chantilly cream
Sounds delicious – the only problem is which one to choose! A cup of tea or coffee will round off your breakfast and set you up for the day in style 🙂
