We’re delighted that Ben Francis is going to be cooking for the Pancake Race Day Breakfast in the marquee on the Market Place. Some of you may know Ben well but for those of you who don’t, let’s find out a bit more about him:

Ben started his career at The Swan Inn & Bistro in Olney, and has worked in a number of independent pubs and country restaurants across Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire as Head Chef. He took on an Executive Chef role leading the relaunch of The Old House, Northampton and then moved to London where he worked as a training assessor, mentoring and inspiring chefs across the capital, as well as supporting Young’s Pub Group with their award-winning chef academy.

Ben stepped back into the Kitchen at The Cherry Tree four years ago, taking on the role of Head Chef in 2022. Drawing on his training in traditional French cuisine, Ben creates refined dishes using seasonal ingredients, handled with care, full of flavour. He works with local suppliers to deliver plates that showcase produce at its finest.
